Light Vessels
Light Vessels is a series of artworks that explore how porcelain interacts with light. It's an ongoing project that utilises the translucent property of porcelain to allow light to transform the casts and forms that I make.

A Northern Light, 2026
This work was made for 'The Big Light,' exhibition in March 2026. It features casts taken from spaces around Blackpool that have framed my experiences of growing up in Blackpool.

Off Cuts (Lamp), 2026
This growing series of works brings together random offcuts of porcelain, overlapping and formed into vessels to hold light.

Everything Human Beings Give to One Another, 2026

Noah (lithophane), 2025
Lithophanes are images created by shining light through a material. The differing thinckness in the material restrict the way that light can travel though it, and so create the varied tones that make the image. My porcelain lithophanes look quite strange until the light passes through them, bringing the image to life.
